  • Go to Printing Preferences, and the driver window will open.

  • To run the check, click on the “Nozzle Check”, load plain paper, and click Print.

Now the printer will print out a page with four lines. If the lines are straight, clean, and continuous, the nozzles are clear.  If broken lines show, you need to run the cleaning cycle. 

– Cleaning the capping station

Cleaning the capping station involves clearing any ink build-up and ensuring a strong airtight seal. With a foam swab, clean the square rubber gasket surrounding the inner sponge. 

–  Cleaning the wiper blade

It is a thin rubber strip that is located right next to the capping station. With the dampened foam swab, clear the dried ink crust from the base to the tip of the strip. If the blade is hidden, you can use tweezers to gently slide it for cleaning and put it back when done.

–  Regular cleaning

Regular cleaning is required once a week to maintain the sublimation printer’s performance. Gently clean the inside and outside of your printer by wiping the surfaces with a soft, microfiber cloth or cotton swabs. Always pay attention to the dust accumulation in the vents.
