Waveform Loading Guide

1. Preparation Before Loading

1.1 Back Up Firmware Parameters

Before loading the waveform, please back up the current firmware parameters.
This backup allows you to restore the system if any unexpected issues occur.
Refer to 【2.1.2 Export & Import Firmware Parameters】 and save the exported file properly.

Waveform files cannot be exported from the printer software. Please keep your files properly saved.

1.2 Prepare the Waveform File

Please contact LINKO technical support to obtain the latest waveform file that matches your printer model and ink type.

File name rules:

Only English letters (A–Z, a–z), numbers (0–9), space, hyphens (-), and underscores (_) are allowed.
Do not use Chinese characters or special symbols. Loading may fail if the file name is incorrect.

2. Waveform Loading Steps

2.1 Start the Printer Manager (PM)

Double-click the PM icon on the desktop to enter the main interface. (See Figure 2.1-1/2.1-2)

2.2 Enter Factory Mode

Press Ctrl + Shift + G.
In the password window, enter: byhx123456
Click OK to enter Factory Mode.(See Figure 2.2)

2.3 Open the Realtime Setting Page

Click Menu → Settings → Realtime setting.(See Figure 2.3-1/2.3-2)

2.4 Read the Current Head Parameters

In the Realtime setting page, select Selected Head at the lower-left corner.

Click Read QR Code.

The software will display the current QR parameters.（See Figure 2.4-1/2.4-2）

2.5 Select the Printhead and Prepare to Load the Waveform

Click Refresh to update the latest data.

Select the correct printhead according to the waveform file name.

For example:

i3600 Color Ink → select the Color head
i3600 White Ink → select the White head

Then click Download Waveform to start loading.

Notes: Wrong waveform files will affect print quality. Always choose the correct file.

2.6 Select and Load the Waveform File

When the “Select Waveform File” window appears, choose the correct file and click Open.

In the “Printer Manager” window, click OK to continue.

2.7 Confirm the Loading Result

Click Refresh again.

Check the Wave Form ID on the selected printhead row.
If the number has changed, the waveform has been loaded successfully.
Notes:

Only one printhead can be loaded at a time. For multiple heads, repeat Steps 2.5–2.7.
In BYHX systems, Color and White heads use different waveform files. They are not interchangeable

2.8 Save and Exit

Click Save after all waveform files are loaded. (See Figure 2.8-1)

Wait for the “Set Successfully” message, click OK, and close the page .(See Figure 2.8-2)

3.3. Completion Instructions

All waveform files have been loaded successfully.
Please restart the Printer Manager (PM) to apply the new parameters.
The waveform loading process is complete.
