Printer Parameters Export and Import Guide
Note:
The firmware file name can use only English letters（A–Z, a–z）, numbers（0–9）, Space()，hyphens (-), or underscores (_).
Do not use Chinese characters or any other special symbols. Otherwise, the import may fail.
1. Export Printer Parameters
1.1 Start the Printer Control Software
Double-click the PM icon on the desktop. (See Figure 1.1-1)
The main interface will open. (See Figure 1.1-2)
1.2 Export Printer Parameters
- Click the “Menu” button at the top right corner. (See Figure 1.2-1)
- Select “Tools” from the dropdown list.
- Click “Export Printer Parameters”. (See Figure 1.2-2)
1.3 Select File Location
Choose a folder and enter a file name in the file browser window.
Click “Save”. (See Figure 1.3)
1.4 Confirm Export Result
Wait for the message “Export parameters successfully”.
This means the export is complete. (See Figure 1.4)
2. Import Printer Parameters
2.1 Start the Printer Control Software
Double-click the PM icon to enter the main interface. (See Figure 1.1-1 / 1.1-2)
2.2 Open the Import Function
- Click the “Menu” button. (See Figure 2.2-1)
- Select “Tools”.
- Click “Import Printer Parameters”. (See Figure 2.2-2)
2.3 Select the File and Import
- In the file browser window, select the parameter file and click “Open”. (See Figure 2.3-1)
- A confirmation window will appear with the message:
“Import parameters will override the current parameters. Please confirm if to import?” - Click “Yes” to continue. (See Figure 2.3-2)
2.4 Confirm Import Result
When the message “Parameters import succeeded” appears, the import is complete. (See Figure 2.4)
2.5 Restart the Software and Check the USB Status
- Click the red Close icon at the top right to exit PM. (See Figure 2.5-1)
- Return to the desktop and double-click the PM icon to restart the software.
- Check the USB status icon in the lower-left corner:
✅ Normal: Green check mark — Import succeeded (See Figure 2.5-2)
❌ Error: Red cross — Import failed (See Figure 2.5-3)
