LINKO Carriage Board Replacement and Wiring Guide

Applicable Model: LINKO K605B DTF PrinterA-602 DTF PrinterY-603 UV DTF PrinterY-402 UV DTF Printer

Step 1. Preparation Before Starting

1.1 Activate the emergency stop switch: Press the emergency stop switch to stop the printer. (See Figure 1.1)

1.2 Before performing any operation, turn off the power and unplug the power cord.
Failure to do so may cause permanent damage to the carriage board or electric shock.

1.3 Tip: Use your phone to take clear photos of the original carriage board wiring. These will help you reconnect the cables correctly later.

Step 2. Remove the Old Carriage Board

2.2 Unscrew the four mounting screws under the carriage board slots. (See Figure 2.2)

2.3 Disconnect cables ②–④ in sequence. (See Figure 2.1-1)

2.4 Remove the printhead flat cables in the original order and secure them with a rubber band to avoid confusion. (See Figure 2.4)

2.5 Unscrew the fixing screw for cable ① shown in Fig. 2.1-1, then disconnect the cable.

2.6 Cut off the cable tie securing the decoder cable ④. (See Figure 2.6)

2.7 Remove the carriage board together with its base, then unscrew the fixing screws and separate the board from the base. (See Figure 2.7-1/2.7-2)

2.8 Place the old carriage board in an anti-static bag for storage. (See Figure 2.8)

2.2 Disconnect cables ①–④ in sequence. (See Figure 2.1-1)

2.3 Hold the carriage adapter card firmly on both sides and lift it straight up together with the flat cables.(See Figure 2.3-2)

2.4 Unscrew the four corner mounting screws of the carriage board (See Figure2.4)

2.5 Place the old carriage board,and put it in an anti-static bag for storage. (See Figure2.5)

2.2 Disconnect cables ①–⑤ one by one in the indicated in sequence. (See Figure 2.1-1)

2.3 Hold the carriage adapter card firmly on both sides and lift it straight up together with the flat cables. (See Figure 2.3)

2.4 Remove the four corner mounting screws of the carriage board and disconnect the ground wire secured by the upper-right screw. (See Figure 2.4)

2.5 Place the old carriage board in an anti-static bag for storage. (See Figure 2.5)

Step 3. Install the New Carriage Board

3.1 Confirm that the new carriage board model matches the old one.

3.2 Align the new board with the mounting holes on the base, place it gently, and tighten all screws. (See Figure 2.7-2)

3.3 Use a new cable tie to fix the decoder cable securely. (See Figure 2.6)

3.4 Reconnect cable ① and tighten its fixing screws. (See Figure 3.4)

3.3 Reinstall the carriage board adapter card together with the printhead cables onto the carriage board. Ensure correct installation by following Figures 3.3-1, 3.3-2, and 3.3-3.

3.2 Align the new carriage board with the mounting holes and place it in position. Connect the ground wire at the upper-right corner first (See Figure 3.2), then tighten the screws at the upper-left, lower-left, and lower-right corners. (See Figure 2.4)

3.2 Align the new carriage board with the mounting holes and place it in position. Connect the ground wire at the upper-right corner first, then tighten the screws at the upper-left, lower-left, and lower-right corners. (See Figure 3.2/2.4)

3.3 Reinstall the carriage board adapter card together with the printhead cables onto the carriage board. Ensure correct installation by following Figures 3.3-1, 3.3-2, and 3.3-3.

3.3 Reinstall the carriage board adapter card together with the printhead cables onto the carriage board. (See Figure 2.3)

Step 4. Reconnect All Cables

4.1 Refer to Fig. 2.1-1 Carriage Board Wiring Diagram and reconnect all cables in order.

Ensure each cable is fully inserted, oriented correctly, and firmly connected.

4.2 Reconnect the printhead flat cables in their original order.

4.3 Tighten the four screws under the carriage board slots. (See Figure 2.2)

Tip:
After all connections are completed, take a clear photo of the wiring and send it to the LINKO Technical Support Team for confirmation before powering on.

4.1 Refer to Figure 2.1-1 Carriage Board Wiring Diagram and reconnect all cables in order.

Ensure each cable is fully inserted, oriented correctly, and firmly connected.

Tip:
After completing all connections, take a clear photo of the wiring and send it to the LINKO Technical Support Team for confirmation before powering on.

4.1 Refer to the Figure. 2.1-1 Carriage Board Wiring Diagram and reconnect all cables in order.

Ensure each cable is fully inserted, oriented correctly, and firmly connected.

Tip:
After completing all connections, take a clear photo of the wiring and send it to the LINKO Technical Support Team for confirmation before powering on.

Step 5. Power-On Check

5.1 Final Inspection: Check again to ensure all cables are secure and correctly connected.

5.2 Power On: Plug in the power cord and turn on the main power switch. (See Figure 1.2-2)

5.3 Release the Emergency Stop Switch: Turn the emergency stop switch clockwise to restore the machine’s circuit connection. (See Figure 5.3-1)
