Adjust Printhead Height and Parallelism (Manual Calibration)
Video Supplement – Carriage Frame Re-positioning
This step is used to reset the carriage frame so that the distance between the carriage and the print platform is 2.6–2.8 mm, and the carriage remains parallel to the platform.
- Prepare four coins with a thickness of 2.7–2.8 mm each.
These coins will be used as height spacers. - Loosen the four screws shown in the video.
Loosen all four screws evenly. - Allow the carriage frame to drop by its own weight until it rests on the four coins.
This sets the correct distance from the platform. - When the carriage frame is stable on the coins, tighten the four screws again.
Make sure the tightness of all four screws is as consistent as possible. - Remove the coins and continue with the next adjustment step.
This procedure ensures the carriage frame height is correct and the carriage stays parallel to the print platform.
